July 25, 2025: Were you scheduled for an Independent Medical Examination (IME) for your workers compensation claim? Not every medical provider is properly suited for performing the examination that has been scheduled for you.

In November of 2024, the Washington Medical Commission found that physician Christine Lloyd was performing exams for L&I that fell below the standard of care. *If your workers compensation case was affected by an exam with Dr. Lloyd, contact our firm now!

You are your own best advocate. We always recommend that the injured party record the IME that’s being conducted. You (the injured worker) or your attorney needs to inform the IME provider of the intent to record the exam at least seven days prior to the appointment.
